Piano Tuning

Keep your piano sounding its best.

A well-tuned piano produces a clear, balanced and enjoyable sound. Over time, changes in temperature, humidity and regular playing can cause the strings to gradually shift in pitch, affecting the overall tuning and tonal balance of the instrument.

At GMA Piano Services, we provide professional tuning services for all types of acoustic pianos, from upright to grand pianos.

How often should a piano be tuned?

For regular maintenance, we recommend having your piano professionally tuned once every 6 months.

Regular tuning helps maintain pitch stability, keeps the instrument sounding balanced and allows potential issues to be identified before they develop further.

Pianos that are played frequently, have recently been moved or have not been tuned for a long period may require additional attention.

Our tuning services include:

  • Standard piano tuning
  • Pitch adjustment where required
  • Checking pitch and tonal balance
  • General assessment of the piano's condition
  • Identification of potential mechanical issues
Recommended maintenanceEvery 6 months

Regular tuning helps keep your piano sounding its best and ready to be enjoyed whenever you sit down to play.
